Certainly, you can withdraw cash from your UW Credit Union credit card through a cash advance. You can do this using our app, at a UWCU branch, or at any ATM or financial institution that accepts Visa Credit Cards. Please note, there is a $2 fee for each cash advance transaction completed at an ATM or other institution.3 For more details, refer to your credit card agreement or get in touch with a UW Credit Union member service representative.

A balance transfer involves moving your existing balance from one credit card to another. This can help you lower your interest rate, consolidate your debt into a single, manageable payment, and pay off your balances more quickly. By doing so, you could potentially save hundreds or even thousands of dollars in interest.

You can transfer balances from other credit cards to your UWCU credit card and enjoy a 0% APR for the first 6 months³. After this promotional period, the APR will revert to your standard variable APR (13.90% - 28.25%). You can make balance transfers at any time and as many times as you like. Please note that each balance transfer incurs a 3% fee.³

• Mailed Cards: If you choose to have your card mailed, it will arrive within 7-10 business days.
• Instantly at a Branch: You can get a new card printed right away at any UWCU branch. Just visit a branch, and a staff member can print you a physical card the same day if you open a new account, if your card is lost, stolen, damaged, or if you need a name or design change.
• Digital Wallet: If your card is already activated, you can add it to your digital wallet⁴ instantly using our app. For new cards, you’ll need to wait until you receive and activate the card before adding it to your digital wallet. To add your card to your digital wallet, log in to Web Branch, visit the “Details” tab in your credit card account, and add your card directly to your mobile wallet from there. You can also view card details in the same section.
