How to Fund Your Account
There are many ways to add money to your UW Credit Union checking account. Find the way that's easiest for you.
Set Up Direct Deposit
Get paychecks sent directly to your account. With direct deposit, your employer or other source of income (such as Social Security or pension) sends your checks automatically and electronically into your checking account. It's fast, safe and secure.
Direct deposit is easy to set up. In our app and Web Branch, you can create a direct deposit letter. Give this letter to your employer and they'll take care of the rest.
Use Mobile Deposit
Deposit checks from anywhere with just a tap. Mobile Deposit is quick, secure and available anytime in our app and Web Branch.
Use Mobile Deposit anytime you receive a check - no need to visit a branch or ATM. If your employer doesn't offer direct deposit, save time by using Mobile Deposit to cash your check on payday. If you want to move money from an account you have elsewhere, consider writing yourself a check from that account and using Mobile Deposit to cash the check into your UWCU account.
Keep in mind there may be daily limits on how much you can deposit. Visit our Mobile Deposit page for more information and step-by-step instructions. Or, log in to deposit a check now.
Add an External Account
Move money between your UWCU account and accounts you hold at other financial institutions quickly and easily in our app and Web Branch.
Link an external account to UWCU in just a few steps. You'll then be able to transfer money from your external account into your UWCU account for free. (Keep in mind your other financial institution may charge fees.)
Learn more about adding external accounts and transfers in our Help section. Or log in to Web Branch to get started.
Visit a Branch or ATM
Use our location search to find your nearest branch. Or, search for nearby deposit-taking ATMs to deposit cash and checks into your account for free. Browse hours and services to make the most of your visit.
