Vehicle Payment Guide

Your member number can be found in the packet of information you receive via US Mail shortly after getting your loan with us. Watch your mail if you haven't received it yet and keep your packet handy if you have gotten it.  You'll need your member number in order to set up payments. 

· Search online, log in to your account, or call your bank/credit union. Note: Some larger banks have different routing numbers for each state.

· Look at your checks. You can find your routing number on the lower left corner of your check—it’s the first 9 digits.

· Check that your routing number is right. If it's not, please go back and re-enter it. Then confirm if the bank or credit union is the name you expect.

· Banks and credit unions may have multiple names that use the same routing number. If you're not sure, check with your bank or credit union.

Yes, you can link multiple external accounts and then make payments from those accounts to your loans or make transfers to your deposit accounts once verified.

These actions, also known as Notifications, can be set up in Web Branch. Once you are logged in, do the following: 

1. Click bell icon
2. Select 'Manage'
3. Click on the desired account
4. Click on the radial dial in front of the desired notification
5. Click on the option to receive the notification via email, SMS or push (push is available when you download the UW Credit Union app).

1. Click bell icon
2. Select 'Preferences'
3. Click 'Edit Do Not Disturb Hours'

How to Turn off Notifications in Web Branch

1. Click bell icon
2. Select 'Manage'
3. Click on the desired account
4. Click green check mark next to option to turn off
   • Changes are immediately saved and gray circle will appear in place of check mark

Once you are logged in, do the following: 

1. Click 'Transfers & Payments'
2. Click 'Make a Payment' 
3. Click 'Make a Payment' next to the loan
4. Select account from drop-down list to pay from
5. Select payment type:
6. Make Payment - Choose either:
   • 'Now' (immediate payment)
   • 'Later' (later date or recurring payment)
     • Enter the payment date and choose payment frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly,etc)
     • Inputting a number in the 'Number of Payments' field schedules that many payments before automatically stopping -  leave the field blank to keep payments continuously sending.
7. Click 'Next'
8. Click 'Pay Now'

You can make a payment to your loan or line of credit immediately when you link your external account. If you choose to verify the account by sending trial deposits, you will be able to pay your credit card bill and transfer to and from the account you have linked to your checking or savings accounts.

Yes, the person joint on the loan can link their own external accounts for payment to the loan. External accounts are only available in the profile in which they were set up.
