Introducing Our Pollinator Garden
Our Northport branch is developing a habitat for important creatures.
Madison, WI – May 5, 2023 – UW Credit Union’s employee-led, sustainability-minded Green Team had a beautiful spring day to break ground on a pollinator garden behind our Northport branch, 1422 Northport Drive, Madison.
These gardens are designed to supply pollinators, like bees and butterflies, with pollen and nectar so they can continue their important work in supporting the food chain. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, pollinators are responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food you eat.
